The "International Dzogchen Community of Zhiwaling" is made up of a group of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu's students in the German part of Switzerland. The students in the French speaking part of Switzerland are organized in the "International Dzogchen Community of Tengyäling". The name "Zhiwaling" stands for the "peaceful Ling". "Ling" is the Tibetan word for center. Zhiwaling is a member of the "Swiss Buddhist Union" (SBU).

The objective of our community is to organize practices and workshops of the Dzogchen teachings received from our Master, such as Yantra Yoga, Vajra-Dance or the Ganapuja.

We meet on a regular basis in Songtsen House in Zurich and some other places in Switzerland. In order to learn and deepen the practices transmitted by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu we invite teachers authorized by the master himself.
