Elio Guarisco is a translator, scholar and meditation teacher. He is an expert in Buddhist philosophy and has collaborated with several Tibetan masters in important translation projects.
Elio studied Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy under one of the Dalai Lama's philosophical advisers for ten years. He also learned the mindfulness techniques from Goenka, a major Vipassana tradition teacher. From 1986, having become a student of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, Elio has worked for the International Shang Shung Institute for Tibetan Studies.
Elio is a well-known scholar and translator of texts of the ancient culture of Tibet. He teaches the principle of full presence as the base for the knowledge of one's own primordial condition.
